Overlooking the Chicago River, this boutique has "one of the best locations and views in the Loop", along with "modern", "large" rooms that, while "a little worn around the edges", boast separate seating areas with "lounging chairs" and "marble walls and floors" in the "roomy" bathrooms; the in-house eatery and bar are closed indefinitely (plans for a new contemporary American joint are underway), but "steakhouses, Irish pubs and other restaurants" are all nearby; P.S. budget a full $39 a day for the "convenient" parking.

The location and views are outstanding.
Lobby and shower are in need of repair/renovation.

While this hotel is showing some wear and tear, it is in an unbeatable location to serve as a base for exploring downtown Chicago. The views of the Chicago river from the rooms are inspiring.

No refrigerator in the room.

Room was a little warm even though we set the temperature as low as possible.
